Today, it was heavy rain, because the season's first typhoon was moving in near China. Fortunately, it won't approach Japan. However, because of the typhoon, it was like the rainy season in June.
By the way, I learnt the difference between a typhoon and hurricane. The violent storm is called the typhoon in Pacific Ocean, and the hurricane in Atlantic Ocean. Which ocean is nearer from your country?
I went to my favorite English cafe, but there is too much traffic jam on the way. I met one of the staff that I haven't met before. Many customers and the staff enjoyed talking about several things. Since one of customers and the staff talked about France, I was interested in this country.
My blog was introduced briefly at Aya-san's blog. She mentioned four sites which were written in English. She said that writing English in a blog was good exercise for English learners. This is what she said:
Today, I'll tell you about a food. One of my favorite foods is an octopus ball, which is called Takoyaki in Japanese.
I chose my favorite food in a menu (Fig 1). Then I ordered a bowl of rice topped with pieces of octopus and octopus balls. Former one was bottom left of Fig 2, and latter one was top right.
Fig 1: A menu of my favorite Takoyaki restaurants
Fig 2: A bowl of rice topped with a piece of octopus and octopus balls
A ball of octopus balls is prepared from flour. At this time, octopus balls I ate were dressed with mayonnaise and leek sliced crosswise (Fig 3). As you can see in Fig 4, a piece of octopus was contained in an octopus ball.

Fig 4: A closeup of a filling of an octopus ball
If you have never eaten octopus balls, I think you must try to eat them!
I tell you about an answer of Quiz No. 00002. If you haven't tried solving that, you must not read the answer.
Two answerers had different thoughts. One of them is "to sleep ," and the other is "taking a nap ." From the second paragraph of this question, since a jet lag was described, the latter response might be derived.
However, read the first paragraph carefully. In this paragraph, the quiz said this action was necessary for us. "Taking a nap," therefore, was not a suitable answer.
I'll tell you my favorite blog sites. If interested, why don't you visit there? My friends list is located at the lower left in this blog.
English Aya Pod
I always utilize a program of podcast named "English Aya Pod." In this program, two native speakers, called Peter and Paul, enjoy chatting together. Then, a hostess of this program, called Aya-san, gives the explanation to audiences.
This site is a private blog of the hostess of "English Aya Pod," Aya-san, She usually describe her life, her work, English, and so on. The title means literally "Aya and her kitties' blog with vocabulary."
This blog was made by an English learner called penguin-san. I love that title. He described his motivation which is "I will become an emperor penguin!" To be an emperor penguin, this poor penguin exerts an effort. That is an epic story! Actually, he's studying English hard.
To acquire English skill, he went off on adventure. His name was ran-san. In the course of the quest, he must meet enormous enemies which he has never seen. What kind of enemies are they? I guess that they are unknown words, idioms, parables, and novel grammar. No one knows whether he will be able to defeat the Archenemy.
This site is really colorful. I love there! I don't know gender of that author called Maru-san, so I say "her." She has drawn many paintings that are pastel colored. This site is written in Japanese, but you should visit there if you can't understand Japanese. You can enjoy looking at many pictures.
Hi folks, nice to meet you. Thank you so much for visiting my blog and reading this message.
I hope many visitors who are native speakers or English learners become my friends through communicating here. That was why this blog was born. I named this site "英会話特訓あるべし！！！", hoping that my speaking skill will be improved. This title means that, "You should practice speaking again and again."
For English learners
I'm an English learner who is the same as you, so I must make a mistake. Even if you aren't good at English, you don't have to hesitate at all. Let's try communicating in English!
For native speakers
This blog was made in Japanese company, and most sentences were written in Japanese. So, I tried to improve this blog, then almost every sentence which I could change was translated into English. Now, I wrote my diary, quizzes, a record of learning, remarks, and so on. Some categories were written in Japanese.
